In collaboration with our Belgian partners, A2D architecture 2 design and D+A nv , we are pleased to share that we've been selected to participate in the competition for the design of 400 new homes on the southwestern edge of Leuven!
The Sint-Jansbergsesteenweg site is the last greenfield development in Leuven and will act as a pilot project within the goal of the city to be climate neutral by the year 2030. This ambitious project calls for a mix of homes, community services and public spaces that make a positive contribution to their environment in terms of diversity, sustainability and spatial character.
Selected from a pool of 19 applications, our team is one of 5 invited to continue to the next tender phase based on our shared "conviction to generate a positive impact on a social, economic and ecological level" says the jury report. We look forward to bringing a new vision to life on the other side of summer!
Thank you to stad Leuven, DIJLEDAL Sociale Woonmaatschappij Leuven, and KULeuven.
