The new publication "Living Places: Principles and Insights for a New Way of Thinking Buildings" provides an insight into the knowledge, concepts and solutions inherent to the Living Places Copenhagen project, a new way of building sustainable homes with a three times lower CO2 footprint and a first-class indoor climate.
The book represents a collaborative effort, with contributions from the project’s main partners, the VELUX Group, EFFEKT Architects and Artelia Denmark, as well as scientific experts and industry professionals. It is intended for a wide audience, ranging from experienced architects and building industry professionals, to anyone interested in the potential of healthy buildings and the necessity of prioritizing them.
The purpose behind this publication is for the knowledge and insights of the Living Places concept to further inspire the building industry and continue to ripple throughout the wider society, encouraging a rethinking of buildings for the benefit of both people and the planet.
The book is enriched with detailed diagrams, hand-drawn sketches, and photographs by Adam Mørk, and is published by the Danish Architectural Press.
