Earth Overshoot Day landed in Denmark on Tuesday this week. A powerful reminder that the question the construction industry needs to come together to solve now is whether we can build in a way that does not deplete, but instead restores the Earth’s natural resources.
At EFFEKT we strive to keep experimenting to move architecture towards a sustainable future that reconnects people and the planet. One of those experiments is Living Places Copenhagen, which is now almost ready for visitors! The exhibition in Jernbanebyen, which demonstrates the way to a three times lower CO2 footprint than today's standard in construction, will officially open to the public on April 22nd - Earth Day - as a partner project for the UNESCO-UIA World Capital of Architecture.
We look forward to welcoming you soon! Get a sneak peek of the project below, stay tuned for the full program and book a tour here.
