The National Geographic TV Series "Europe from Above" premiered on August 27th, and we are happy to see that our Forest Tower at Camp Adventure is featured in the first episode.
The series takes viewers on a spectacular journey through Europe's most beautiful and remarkable regions. From engineering projects in Benelux to a rescue mission in Iceland. The series provides a fresh perspective on traditions, innovations, and engineering breakthroughs that continue to shape today’s nations.
On their website, The National Geographic states: “Immersing oneself in woods, or “forest bathing,” has been shown by scientists to reduce mental and physical stress. At Camp Adventure, visitors ascend a spiraling 150-foot-high boardwalk to get a fresh perspective on trees—and perhaps on life.”
