Yesterday, EFFEKT received the prestigious 2023 Building Prize (Bygningspræmiering) from Frederiksberg Municipality. The award recognised our work on the Fuglebakkevej project located in the heart of Frederiksberg.

Fuglebakkevej 88, a former industrial warehouse, has undergone a significant transformation. The project involved renovating two existing buildings and adding a new extension, all thoughtfully integrated into the surrounding urban landscape. The project also features various green spaces, from private areas to public parks and a children's playground.

The award ceremony took place at the town hall on Wednesday afternoon, recognizing the finest buildings and urban spaces of the past two years. Established in 1902 this award aims to acknowledge and celebrate great and beautiful architectural contributions to Frederiksberg. Honored projects receive bronze plaques and diplomas.

The Fuglebakkevej 88 project was honored with the 2023 Building Prize for its exceptional design and thoughtful integration into the community. The jury described it as a "beautiful, elegant, and unpretentious construction that not only enhances its immediate surroundings but also makes a positive contribution to the entire area. It stands as an exemplary project, bearing witness to the profound dedication and genuine commitment to the local community and Frederiksberg as a whole."
