We are thrilled to announce that EFFEKT´s Sinus Lynge, Tue Foged and Kasper Reimer are the recipients of this year´s Nykredit´s Sustainability prize / Nykredits Fonds Bæredygtighedspris.
As part of the biggest architecture award in Scandinavia, the Nykredits Fonds Bæredygtighedspris is granted every year to architects who in their work have a special focus on the intersection between architecture, environment, and climate.
There is nothing more urgent in the building industry than to fast forward the green transition. And for EFFEKT as a company, nothing is more urgent than to mobilize partnerships around this mission. Nobody will get there on their own. Therefore, this award is dedicated to all the amazing partners and collaborators who have helped us push the agenda so far and to those who will join us in the coming years. Thank you!”. EFFEKT partner Sinus Lynge during the acceptance speech.
In the Jury´s words:
"Over the past decade, EFFEKT has developed a strategic understanding of what sustainable architecture can do and how our homes and behaviors affect our lives and our footprint on the planet. The studio's research and design approach are both theoretical and investigative, and their work is always examined through design and concrete prototypes. The studio's approach to sustainability is fact-driven and challenges the conventions of the construction industry and of our way of life. "
We would like to thank Nykredit Fond for the prestigious recognition and extend our congratulations to the recipient of the main award Arkitekturprisen, light designer Jesper Kongshaug as well as the winners of Motivationsprisen, architects Anders Lind and Thomas Tulinius.
