Hamaren Activity Park update
Hamaren Activity Park update

Construction is well underway at the Hamaren Activity Park - a public destination for outdoors experiences in nature, located in Fyresdal, at the heart of the Telemark region in Norway.

Almost one third of the elevated boardwalk - more than 300 meters - has now been built, mostly in local pine wood, while CLT beams have been used for the most load-bearing structures.
Fun fact: the vertical columns are standard electrical treated poles, which allowed for a more cost-efficient and streamlined installation process.

Once completed next June, the new addition to the park will be a one-kilometer route enabling visitors to walk through the forest all the way to the summit of Klokkahamren - a fully wooden boardwalk structure that overcomes the challenging terrain while respecting the existing biotopes and nature.
