EFFEKT prequalified for the competition for the conversion of Bispeengen, in the team led by Henning Larsen Architects together with Colliers, GPA, Rambøll, RMC and We Do Democracy.
The central area bordering Copenhagen and Frederiksberg Kommune will be transformed into a green area when the current three-lane concrete overpass will be demolished, and the traffic-heavy road moved underground.
The project will aim to provide new recreational greens and attractive urban spaces that will offer better connection across the residential areas and municipalities, as well as an improved cloudburst-water management strategy - including the reopening of the Ladegårdsåen creek in the light of a possible future recreational Å-park.
