The Doughnut for Urban Development has won a Scandinavian Design Award in the Sustainability Achievement of the Year 2024 category.

The framework owes its existence to the collaborative efforts of several key players: Technical University of Denmark - Build, Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL), Rådet for Bæredygtigt Byggeri, EFFEKT, Home.Earth, SLA, Sweco Architects, Stockholm Resilience Centre and Vandkunsten.  What a team!

We are proud to have co-edited the publication together with Home.Earth, presenting a framework for scaling urban development within planetary boundaries inspired by the visionary work of renowned economist Kate Raworth.
