We are excited to share "Del Hus Vidensprojekt" created in a collaboration between EFFEKT and V!GØR for the Forening Del Hus and part of Bevar Mere – Fremtidens boliger i nutidens bygninger.

With climate urgency and "housing crisis" as a starting point this project investigates the possibility of supplying needed housing for the projected population growth through redistribution of the existing building stock. Through mapping and communicating knowledge on the subdivision of single-family homes, this project demonstrates that we do not have a housing crisis - we have a distribution crisis.

Reduction Roadmap recently launched the report "Beyond the Roadmap" highlighting the need to transition away from construction of new buildings towards a practice of transformation and renovation. This project presents a precise solution of how to meet societies’ need for housing within safe and just planetary boundaries.
