After two years as a pioneering prototype in Jernbanebyen, demonstrating how a small project can capture global attention and drive change, Living Places Copenhagen is entering a new phase. Today’s "House Cooling" event marks the beginning of the disassembly process—a process that will be documented to share insights and learnings. The prototype will be reassembled in the spring at a yet-to-be-revealed location!

Today, we celebrated the project's recognition in Financial Times, BBC, TV Avisen, P1, and many other influential media outlets. It has won 8 awards and is currently nominated for 3 more. Over its two-year run, 177 events were hosted on site, and 318 guided tours were given.

Now scaling internationally, the first prototype outside Denmark was recently launched in the Netherlands, and SOS Children’s Villages will soon bring Children’s Living Places to Ukraine.
