We were delighted to host a delegation of collaborators from Rotterdam last week for a two-day workshop and an inspirational tour of Copenhagen's vibrant city life, waterfront and landscape designs as well as some of our own projects, including Mimers Plads, UMEUS and Kildevæld Community Centre.

During our time together, we made significant progress on our collaborative endeavor, The Waterside (or Waterkant), a vital part of the Feyenoord City masterplan. In collaboration with OMA and LOLA, EFFEKT is promoting a novel urban planning approach for this high-density neighborhood along the Nieuwe Maas riverbank.

The development will seamlessly integrate with its surroundings, architecturally and socially, creating a unique waterfront attraction for residents and visitors alike where public space, landscape features, and buildings will come together to form a place with a character all its own.
