The vision of Sjællandsk Muld, a community-oriented housing area in Hyllegaard, is to create a lively community that unites modern living with ambitious regenerative solutions and supports different forms of housing for both young people, families with children, singles and seniors.
Nature is integrated into the homes as each dwelling actively relates to the sloping terrain with direct and easy access to the outdoor. The architectural outset focuses on building with as minimal a carbon footprint as possible, best achieved by prioritizing natural materials and focusing on a healthy indoor climate.
To turn the ambitious vision of Sjællandsk Muld into reality, we designed everything from scratch – in collaboration with the residents, Enemærke & Petersen and Almenr.
