In collaboration with Dansk Byplanlaboratorium, The Royal Danish Embassy in Berlin, has collected 28 good stories about urban development in Denmark with sustainability as the common theme. It has become a traveling exhibition, which is currently being shown in Berlin, and will continue to both large and small German cities as an inspiring input for local debate.
Because what does the most used buzzword of our time actually mean? The exhibition makes it concrete and shows projects within, among other things, cycling, renovation of buildings, climate adaptation, biodiversity and the importance of communities and citizens' own involvement.
The exhibition delves into two of EFFEKT’s projects:
-GAME Streetmekka Viborg, which has turned a gray and abandoned factory building into a vibrant culture house for street sports, street culture and street art.
-Svendborg Harbor's "Blue Edge", developed with Sweco Architects and WTM Engineers, which provides flood protection with respect for the maritime cultural heritage and adds new recreational and social value to the harbor area and the city.
The exhibition will be shown in Nordiske Ambassader, Fælleshus until May 14th.
