A residential infill project designed by a team of architects from EFFEKT has received zoning approval from the City Council of Frederiksberg.

The new building will replace a worn-down industrial building with a new structure that completes the traditional perimeter block, characteristic of the area. The new building will have a total area of 3.180 m2 and will contain 33 apartments and a shared social space for the building residents, distributed over 5 stories.

I significant part of the project will join the recreational areas of the three adjoining buildings into one shared courtyard garden for building residents. Dramatically upgrading the recreational qualities of the space with improved access, reduces noise, higher diversity, and better daylight conditions during the day.

The construction is expected to begin in spring 2022 and to be completed during 2023.
