Strong industry profiles join EFFEKT
To strengthen management, projects, and urbanism EFFEKT has welcomed three strong industry profiles to the team.
New Chief Operating Officer
Jake Spruit III joins EFFEKT as Chief Operating Officer. Jake takes over from Mikkel Bøgh who will now focus on strategy and communication in the role of Chief Strategy Officer. Jake comes from a position as Chief Operating Officer and Associate Partner at Schmidt, Hammer and Lassen and was previously for a longer period of 8 years employed as Project Director at Henning Larsen Architects. Jake is a registered architect in the state of New York and has international construction and project management experience from Europe, North America and the Middle East.
New Head of Urbanism
Kasper Brejnholt Bak is appointed Head of Urbanism, where he will contribute to consolidating and developing the planning area, which has been growing strongly at EFFEKT in recent years.
Kasper Brejnholt Bak is an architect and urban planner and has a broad international experience with a background as Senior Consultant at Niras and as coordinator for ‘International Masterplanning’ in Rambøll. In recent years, he has in collaboration with i.a. The Danish Architecture Center and CONCITO developed exhibitions on sustainable urban development and climate change at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
New Project Director
Rasmus Tøgern joins EFFEKT as Project Director and will oversee a large part of the office's many construction projects. Rasmus has collaborated with EFFEKT for two decades while running his own practice for a period of twelve years.
Rasmus joins EFFEKT from a position as Head of the department for Transformation and Renovation at Årstiderne Arkitekter (now Sweco Architects). Rasmus has more than twenty years of experience from the Danish construction industry.
