Lockdown and COVID-19 had a catastrophic influence on tourism in most countries in 2020. Nine out of ten of the top tourist attractions in Denmark have seen a significant drop in visitors. Despite challenges, Camp Adventure has reported a rise in visitors of 9,2% which lands them right outside the top 10 (as number 11) of attractions in Denmark in 2020.

All over the field, nature-based experiences have seen an increase in visitors as more people have seized the chance to get out into nature to provide that much-needed respite and escape during a difficult year. A tendency that seems to continue post-pandemic.
