On Wednesday, April 21st, coinciding with the reopening of society in Denmark, the Danish Architecture Center debuts its newest exhibition “Backstage” which focuses on some of Danish architecture's current agendas.
The exhibition investigates what goes on behind the scenes when architects and urban planners create the urban spaces and buildings that form the framework of our lives, showcasing concrete examples -including the transformation of the social housing area of Rosenhøj, a project we completed together with Arkitema in 2017.
The holistic and sustainable transformation is explained through a video-animated model, whereas video interviews with the residents showcase the positive social impact of the project, which was awarded the RENOVER prisen in 2017 for best social housing transformation.
The exhibition is open to the public from 21 April to 3 October 2021 and is supported by the philanthropic association Realdania.
