Rosenhøj at new DAC exhibition Hello Denmark
Rosenhøj transformation is one of the projects featured at Hello Denmark, Danish Architecture Center’s summer exhibition unfolding the shared narrative of Denmark as a world-class design and architecture nation. A tale that testifies to a design tradition and a strong set of values that permeate the entire community and shape the life we live – every day – from the smallest teaspoon to the largest urban planning.
Developed in collaboration with Arkitema, Rosenhøj is a holistic and sustainable transformation of a social housing area in Viby Syd, Aarhus, DK. The main vision for the transformation was to open up the area towards the surrounding city and to create a new sense of identity and community inside the neighborhood.
Together with Israel plads and Aarhus Cityhall, Rosenhøj is selected to provide a glimpse into one of the fundamentals of everyday Danish life: how the foundation of trust in society impacts our built world.
The exhibition Hello Denmark is located in DAC´s Golden Gallery, and it will be open until October 18th, 2020.
