EFFEKT as part of the team consisting of Hoffmann, Lolk and MOE has pre-qualified for the design competition of the new primary school of Varde Municipality in West Jutland.

Frelloskolen is expected to be ready for the 2021/22 school year and welcome 850 pupils from kindergarden to 9th grade in a 10,000 m2 building including outdoor areas for stay, play and learning.

New accesses and connections with the existing Varde leisure center will be established, which includes sports facilities such as swimming pool, bowling center and café that will be available to the students and teachers.

The winners of the design competition will be announced in spring 2019.
