Yesterday, May 3rd, we celebrated groundbreaking of our tower at Camp Adventure. The project will link a 900 metres-long treetop walk to a 45 metres tall observation tower with panoramic views over the surrounding protected forest of Gisselfeld Kloster in Denmark. The ceremony was well attended with participants including the Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, Brian Mikkelsen, the Mayor of Faxe Municipality, Ole Vive, and the Director of Gisselfeld Klosters, Jens Risom. In order to bring the experience to life, guests were invited to wear Augmented Reality (AR) goggles projecting a full-size hologram of the observation tower onsite. Guests were also offered a lift on a crane platform up 45 metres into the sky, the height of the observation deck, to discover stunning views of the surrounding woodland. The project is developed in close collaboration with engineering consultants Arup. Tower is planned for opening in late 2018.
