Together with 3XN, karres+brands and Buro Happold, EFFEKT has been selected for the second phase of the competition for Gellerup Sports and Culture Campus, Aarhus DK. The campus will be an integrated part of EFFEKT's masterplan (2009) and landscape plan (2014) for Gellerup-Toveshøj, and includes both culture house, community house, library, sports and swimming facility, and a large public space 'Verdenspladsen'. The second phase of the competition starts in August and the final winner will be announced in December 2017. The new Sports and Culture Campus is expected to open to the public in 2021.
