Divided into 14 categories, this yea’ winners vary from up­-and-­coming architects like EFFEKT, who constructed a cluster of structures to create a new cancer counseling center in Denmark, to architects who are leading the charge on a new wave of popular regionalism such as Vietnamese Vo Trong Nghia, to Pritzker Prize­winning architects such as Ávaro Siza, Herzog & de Meuron and Shigeru Ban. However, no matter the firm, each project stands out for its unique and innovative design."
