EFFEKT, COWI, Bo Grönlund and KATOxVictoria won the unique opportunity to redevelop and transform the Tingbjerg Husum social housing areas to a vibrant and safe neighbourhood. Originally designed in the 1950's Tingbjerg and Husum had all the luxuries that modern life required. Only 10 km from the City Hall Square in Copenhagen and with the recreative lake area 'Utterslev Mose' nearby, the characteristic yellow brick buildings comprise the homes of 6000 people.
